Wow. Does your heart race when thinking about the upcoming football season? Is it so close you can taste it? Do you just want the season to happening already? You can be the one who wants it so bad, only Brett Favre wants it more. That’s right, I said it.

There are many predictions flying around. The experts are looking for their chance to go out on a limb and take a team that not everyone agrees with. You figure that will automatically rule out the usual favorites, New England and Indianapolis. As much as we, Charger Fans, believe that we should be included on that list. The fact of the matter is not everyone across the nation thinks of the Chargers in the same light as we do. Here and there, you’ll hear someone on the air (tv or radio) mention the Chargers.  Key word being mention.  We really know we should only need one question answered…What is a good reason that the Chargers can’t win the Superbowl?

No reason.

The Bolts really don’t have any excuses. They have everything anyone would want in a team:

-Pro Bowl caliber players at EVERY position, both sides of the ball. Ballin’.

-The Chargers will get to be showcased several times on National TV. Time to strike fear into America. Are these Chargers for real?

-The construction of this years San Diego Chargers Team, has been a plan masterminded by the combination of ownership and management. We truly can’t say that the Spanos Family isn’t doing everything they could possibly do to make the Lombardi Trophy an attainable treasure. Two key points will prove they mean business (although there have been many)

1) Michael Vick/Ladainian Tomlinson trade. Do I really need to elaborate? Vick, talk about bringing the “Madden Jinx” to the next level…potential wasted. LT, The Greatest. Ever.

2)Eli Manning/ Philip Rivers…and Nate Kaeding…oh yeah, and Shawne Merriman (the very next year). Little known fact: The Bolts even made a stab at making matters worse for the Giants. Turns out that Mr. “It is what it is” was trying to do “it” to them. He attempted to bleed Osi Umenyora out of the deal too. Didn’t happen, but a pretty gangster move anyway.

Think about it my friends… every move has been a step in the direction of the ultimate goal.  All the ingredients are present. Why not us? Why not now?

No reason. Ain’t nothing to it, but to do it. What is “it”? We all know the answer…IT IS WHAT IT IS.
