It comes down to this. It is everything we wanted and more. A chance to go to the Super Bowl. A chance to payback Tom Brady and the Patriots, for getting us last year in the playoffs, and week 2. And a chance to turn the Patriots in to the best team EVER…not to win the Super Bowl.

As Charger Fever continues to sweep America’s Finest City, the weekend slowly (and I mean sloooowly) approaches. How many times have you asked or been asked “Is it Sunday yet?” It has been a long time coming, that the Bolts have a chance to make it into the big dance. Now is the time.

The Chargers enter the game as two touchdown underdogs. The odds are not the only thing stacked against the Bolts. Injuries, the weather, and the national media are also all against the Chargers. (Notice I have left out the referees…that was last week).

The Chargers training staff is working overtime this week. Rivers, LT, Gates, Neal, Jamal, and Cromartie are just to name the Pro Bowlers whose names have appeared on the injury report this week. They each will ask themselves one question, “Are you hurt? Or are you injured?” They have made it this far, and bumps and bruises will not stand in their way of achieving the ultimate goal.

As for the weather, it’s supposed to be cold…really cold. But who really cares? Both teams have to play the game. But only one team will win. Hopefully it will be the team that brings some thunder in lightning in hand.

The national media…let’s just tell it like it is. They are all very disappointed that Peyton Manning isn’t facing Tom Brady. Not one of them is giving the Chargers a shot. They have all pulled a Dennis Greene…they have already crowned their asses (Patriots).

With that said, I have all the confidence in the world that our Super Chargers will be exactly that…Super. And it doesn’t matter who we have in there. Rivers or Volek. Tomlinson or Turner. Gates or Manumaleuna. As long as they are wearing a Bolt, I’m gonna ride or die with them. So San Diego, now is our chance to shine. Our team will be out there representing, and so should we. Our men will be facing the best team ever. Let’s punch them rght in the mouth, and take what is ours. That AFC Championship Trophy…and if they drop it, take that crown too. It’s us against the world. It’s time for us to ruin history….17-1 baby!

On our way!
