bi·po·lar : having or marked by two mutually repellent forces or diametrically opposed natures or views OR being, characteristic of, or affected with a bipolar disorder.
I needed to wait a couple days to write something, before I said a few things that I didn’t mean. I wanted to say something worth saying. But I didn’t want to beat a dead horse. That horse named Norv. That would have been too easy. I’ll leave that for the guys who actually get paid to do this stuff. I really just wanted to think of why the Bolts are the Super Chargers one week, and then Super Chokers the next…I’ve thought a many reasons (or excuses, depending on how you look at it) and the one I’ve sold myself on is…our boys have caught a temporary case of bipolar disorder. That’s the only way to explain it. All the Chargers have to do is take their medicine. That medicine is getting back to being “Super” and it all starts with getting the rock to the MVP. L.T.
Ten weeks into the season, the Chargers are at a mediocre 5-5, but amazingly are still in 1st in the AFC West. But .500 ball is not going to get us anywhere except a pick midway through the first round of the 2008 draft. It is now a 6-game season. It’s going to be an uphill battle. The Denver Broncos who hold a share of first, have their remaining games against teams with a losing record (with the exception being the Chargers). There is no reason why the Chargers can’t run the table and finish strong. At this point, it is not only a requirement to make a push toward the playoffs…it’s an expectation!
