San Diego Chargers’ cornerback Drayton Florence (#29) will face a $15,000 fine for the can of whoop-ass he put on Houston Texans quaterback Matt Schaub. There were players strewn all over the field after Antonio Cromartie’s (#31) interception in the second quarter. The Chargers continued to pummel the Texans 35-10. 

For taking the illegal crown of a helmet to the jaw Matt Schaub can look forward to another weekend on the bench nursing a concussion. Surprisingly, in this day and age of “don’t hurt my quarterback” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell did not suspend Florence for the change of possession hit. Unfortunately, Houston will be without their starting quaterback when they face the pitiful Raiders.
